When we started this blog awhile back it was mainly just a way to show yall how many shows we do and for me to step up my editing skills. Since then its grown into an entity of its own, I mean people come up to us on the streets talking bout things they saw in an episode, its crazy. Music wise we were back in Antones catching Bavu Blakes and the Extra Plairs, but this time they opened up for Grupo Fantasma. Grupo is an 11 piece latin funk band that had the crowd in a frenzy serving up their spicy dance hits. Oh yeah they got Mr. Symbol himself, Prince, as a cosign. What you know bout that?
Then to celebrate Mothers Day, bring you a very touching video and song by the group PPT. If you've caught witness of the Fat Albert In the Hood craze taking over youtube, then you'll know that while former PPT members Pikahsso and Tahiti are hilariously funny dudes, they also make some great music. This song also featurs Bavu Blakes (who's mum was actually in the video), Tre of Mojoe on the hook, and Aisha on the flute. We hope you celebrate all the mothers in your life, not just now but year round.
