54 Reality Show 4-27 Ladies Edition

When you miss a week, this is how you come back, with an episode packed full of lovely ladies and dope hip-hop.  I'm serious it went down over the last two weeks and we're here to bring it all to you.

First off we headed to the studio to finally jump the Ghetto Rhapsody recording process off.  The homies Lowkey of Southbound and Reggie Coby of Dred Skott jumped on the track with us, but we'll address all that another time.

Then we headed to Aces Lounge to check out the Eclectic Styles of Summer Fashion Show, with live performance from the homies 2020 & Poise for their new mixtape release Bullets.  They had models, dance routines, even a burlesque show, man it was wild.

I also got a quick sneak peak and some behind the scenes footage of Bavu's newest video shoot.  He's getting ready for his upcoming album release and you should to, check him out for more info.

Then we bring it home with and evening full of female MC's, and Devin the Dude, who mainly raps about women, and weed of course.   The bill was loaded featuring performances by Austin's own Latasha Lee, Eyeris, and Staci Russell.  Invincible out of Detroit also took a minute to bless the mic, right before Jean Grae came though and totally rocked the crowd.  Then Devin and the whole Coughee Brothaz conglomerate set it off for the evening.

Nuff typing, I'm bout to watch this episode, you should too...

Since the Vimeo is acting up, here is the youtube in all its glory, make sure you hit the HQ button to watch it the way it was meant to be watched sucka...

if the vimeo stops acting like a hoe, watch it den

The 54 Reality Show 4-21 ***Technical Difficulties***

Man we had a wild time last week.  First we jumped off the recording sessions for our upcoming project GHETTO RHAPSODY produced by Keelay & Zaire.  We jumped on a fire ass beat with the homies Lowkey of Southbound, and Mr. Coby of Dredd Skott and they brought the heat in return.  Then we checked out the fam Ike & Poise  for their mixtape release and a host of other happenings.  There was good music, models, and even a burlesque show going on.

Sadly, we're experiencing some technical difficulties and won't be able to post a video blog this week.  Don't worry though we'll bring it to you in a special ladies edition of the 54 Reality Show.  This weekend we'll be checking out Devin & Jean Grea with some of Austin's finest female performers.

Till then, why not check out this live performance of us rocking with Bavu at SXSW performing our hit Good Day off of the Crew Deep release.  Peace.

54 Reality Show 4-13

Bitchhhhhhhhh

Too Short was in da house so I figured I could get away with starting this post off like that.  It was a busy weekend, in fact it was basically a busy Saturday night.  First G took a minute to hate on my new trendy look, but its cool cuz like I said on the Crew Deep intro "MY SWAG IS SO VERIFIED!"

Then we headed downtown to check out the Too Short show and lets just say he was as raw as ever.  Shouts to Proper Ent and all the openers.  Then we did Crew Deep PT. 3 with Table Manners Crew at Plush.  The homies DJ Kid Slyce, DJ Digg, and DJ Crown killed it all night.  Plus we got a chance to break out our new banger "WHO DAT IS," and the crowd loved it.

Plus the Ms. V.Marie gave us a bit of late night freestyle & shit talking.    Check it all out on THE 54 REALITY SHOW!!!

54 Reality Show 4-06

"Once again back is the incredible..." thats right fam, the 54 Reality Show is here to save you all.  Ok, that was too much, but this week it went down.  Let's get it!

First we happily hop back in the studio, back to work on new material, even though we just dropped a full length free release.  The homie Greezo from Da. C.O.D. asked us to jump on the remix to their mixtape smash Turn Da Heat Up.  So of course we had to blaze it up 54 style.

Then we headed downtown to catch the homie Bavu rip it up at Antones.  He's been holding it down with Gary Clark Jr, and even though we didn't get any footage of Gary, we caught some good footage of the opening act Neckbone.

We wrap it up with the homie Random's, aka Megaran, video for his song Push.  He killed this live at SX- oh yeah they said I'm not allowed to mention that.  Lets just say the boy is doing his thing, and we support that, here on the 54 Reality Show.

oh yeah fuck Vimeo right now...
